Akers' Taxidermy mounts are guaranteed to last. Akers' Taxidermy holds a federal taxidermy license from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.

To obtain the best quality mount, specimens must be in good condition (see the link for proper preparation below). Akers' Taxidermy will evaluate each specimen and communicate any issues that may affect the final quality of the mount. This may include bullet holes or cut marks. Most are repairable (see price list) but may be visible to discerning eyes. Prices are provided by clicking the appropriate link below. The most common animals submitted for mounting are listed there. If the species you wish to have mounted is not listed, please contact Akers' Taxidermy for prices. We will gladly answer any questions. Akers' Taxidermy will not accept any specimens which have been taken in an unlawful manner, or without proper tags and accompanying paperwork. Akers' Taxidermy reserves the right to refuse such jobs.
